Donau Carbon Technologies, the Babcock Wanson Group’s subsidiary dedicated to VOC destruction and solvent recovery, launches its new logo, visual identity and website, following its merger by incorporation into Babcock Wanson Italiana Spa.
Donau Carbon Technologies (DCT) is pleased to announce the launch of its new brand identity and website, now live at donaucarbontechnologies.com.
This evolution follows the merger by incorporation of Donau Carbon Technologies SRL into Babcock Wanson Italiana Spa, effective since 1 May 2026. It marks a new milestone in the integration between the two companies, initiated in 2022 when Donau Carbon Technologies joined the Babcock Wanson Group.
With this step, the expertise and know-how of both brands are now fully united, enabling DCT to offer its customers an even more complete range of solutions and increasingly high-performing technologies for the treatment of polluting emissions.
Over 40 Years of Expertise in Air Treatment and Solvent Recovery
For more than 40 years, Donau Carbon Technologies has designed and built air treatment and industrial solvent recovery plants. Born in Italy and grown worldwide, the company has installed more than 900 plants across over 50 countries, backed by patented technology and ISO 9001 certification since 1998.
DCT’s offering is organised around three complementary areas:
- Solvent Recovery – Activated carbon systems with steam, nitrogen, or nitrogen + vacuum regeneration, including the patented X-CSR technology, achieving over 98% recovery efficiency.
- Thermal Oxidation – Regenerative (RTO), recuperative (TO) and catalytic (CO) oxidisers destroying VOCs with up to 99% efficiency, for airflows ranging from 3,000 to 330,000 Nm³/h.
- Environmental Technologies – Zeolite rotor concentrators, wet scrubbers, bag filters, DeNOx units and heat recovery systems, designed to optimise low-concentration polluted airflows.
These solutions serve a broad range of industries, including flexible packaging and printing, chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and rendering, rubber, plastics and coatings, and waste management.

By bringing together Donau Carbon Technologies’ historical expertise in VOC treatment with the Babcock Wanson Group’s European scale and integrated service network, this new chapter reinforces the Group’s ambition to provide its industrial customers with comprehensive, high-performance solutions for reducing polluting emissions.
